Cool website, I lived in MN for most of 2010 (I was kidnapped from Florida and held hostage in Buffalo, MN by some sick bitch)I just wanna say your site helps me get over what was doen to me last year and I am glad i got to come home ot MD before that snow came and killed yalls metrodome.
If you wanna move anywhere, move to Maryland. everyone makes in excess of 100,000 easily and theres money in the streets. We got a sweet azz flag and the Ravens kick the shit out of the vikings and brett favres overactive cheesedong anyday. (I think tiger woods and Brett Favre went to the same whorehouse.)

The weather’s not bad if you own a good jacket. I’ve lived in Minnesota my whole life though. All in all, the complaining about it only feeds on itself and makes the weather seem worse.
Before you think I’m just trying to make a “I’m manlier than you” post, think about how this is true in other non-weather aspects of life as well. As a student in college right now, I can definitely say that this is true about homework. People spend more time complaining about homework than actually doing it.
But overall, the weather isn’t bad if you own a good jacket and shoveling is good exercise.

A pretty place and Minneapolis isn’t bad. But the people here are the worst I have ever met.

I stumbled on to this site after reading a book about Minnesota and the leaders of the Democratic Party who emerged from there in the 1940′s. I’m not from Minnesota, but from Pennsylvania, and I’ve never lived in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
I’m quite surprised by your belief that Minnesota is so terrible. Compared to where?? In almost every indicator of quality of life, Minnesota is in the top 5 and in some areas is #1.
Perhaps you would change your mind if you lived in other states such as Mississippi, Alabama, or even Pennsylvania which have far greater social problems and less responsive governments.
There are some places I think of and say, “I would never want to live there!” Minnesota ain’t one of them…..not even by a longshot.
